Anna Longo was born in Padua
in 1955. She
studied at Liceo Artistico gaining her diploma in 1973 before
working as a graphic artist for ten years in studios and advertising
agencies in Padua. During the following
ten years she gained experience in the
world of miniatures.
In 1996 her works were displayed in a group exhibition
held by the Organization for the Promotion
of Fine Arts in Turin.
In 1998 she began a series of personal exhibitions at the Galleria
Sagittario,
and in Conegliano (Treviso).
In 1997 and 2000 she participated in the group
exhibition Cartolina d'artista (Postcard Art) at the BAC ART STUDIO in
Venice.
From 2002 to 2005 she
worked with Thompson's
Gallery, London. In
2003 she participated in the group exhibition of the Gagliardi
Gallery, London at the Town Hall in Chelsea and the Battersea Art
Fair.
Since
2002 her paintings have been displayed at the Galleria
San Maurizio, Venice.
Her
works are found above all in private collections in The United States
and in Great Britain.
In
January 2006 a personal exhibition 'Fior da Fiore' at the Galleria
Sagittario in Padua inaugurates her new series of floral paintings. Click

In
2006 she participated in the group exhibition of the Galleria La Meridiana
in Verona and in the Galleria Juris & Perl exhibition, Venice.
A
number of her most recent works are currently on display at the GO
Gallery, Amsterdam.
